Job Summary:

We are seeking an experienced Engineering Manager to join our team at Tate Recruitment. As an Engineering Manager, you will be responsible for leading a team of engineers and overseeing the development and implementation of engineering projects.

Key Responsibilities:

  • Manage and lead a team of engineers to achieve project goals and objectives.
  • Develop and implement engineering projects, including design, development, and testing.
  • Ensure compliance with relevant laws, regulations, and industry standards.
  • Manage contracts and contractors, including electrical installations.
  • Develop and implement project management plans, including timelines, budgets, and resource allocation.
  • Lead and manage change initiatives, including process improvements and technology upgrades.
  • Develop and implement safety systems and protocols to ensure a safe working environment.
  • Conduct audits and reviews to ensure compliance with industry standards and regulations.
  • Develop and implement training programs to ensure engineers have the necessary skills and knowledge to perform their jobs effectively.
  • Collaborate with cross-functional teams, including sales, marketing, and operations, to achieve business objectives.

Requirements:

  • Proven experience as an Engineering Manager or in a similar leadership role.
  • Strong technical knowledge of electrical installations and engineering principles.
  • Excellent leadership and management skills, including the ability to motivate and develop a team.
  • Strong project management skills, including the ability to plan, organize, and execute projects.
  • Excellent communication and interpersonal skills, including the ability to work with cross-functional teams and stakeholders.
  • Ability to work in a fast-paced environment and prioritize multiple tasks and projects.
  • Strong analytical and problem-solving skills, including the ability to analyze data and make informed decisions.
