Software Engineer Opportunity at Williams Racing

Williams Racing is seeking a skilled Software Engineer to join our Digital Performance Technology (DPT) team. As a key member of our Vehicle Dynamics Department, you will be responsible for designing, developing, and maintaining software and computational tools used to optimize our racing cars.

Key Responsibilities:
  • Collaborate with the Vehicle Dynamics Software Team to design and develop innovative software solutions using agile principles and best practices.
  • Write high-quality, maintainable code that adheres to our coding standards and guidelines.
  • Learn and adopt new technologies and tools defined by the DPT software and development team, and research and implement innovative ideas for potential introduction to the group.
  • Implement appropriate testing and quality assurance processes to ensure the reliability and performance of our software applications.
  • Take ownership of application support and contribute to improving software processes within the Vehicle Dynamics team.
Requirements:
  • Proficiency in object-oriented programming (C#.Net Core) and experience with data persistence technologies (Relational, Document, Timeseries, Bucket).
  • Familiarity with Azure DevOps and Git.
