Driver Trainer Opportunity at Maritime Transport

Maritime Transport, a leading logistics company in the UK, is seeking a highly experienced HGV1 Driver Trainer to join our team at our London Gateway depot.

As a key member of our training team, you will be responsible for providing driver training requirements and ensuring our commitment to Driver CPC under our JAUPT-approved training scheme.

Key responsibilities include assessing drivers, providing on-the-road training, and ensuring best practice is adopted in defensive driving, fuel economy, and proper use of vehicles and trailers.

You will work closely with the Driver Administrator to coordinate training schedules and provide training reports as required.

Requirements include excellent communication skills, the ability to assess driver needs, and previous experience in a similar role would be an advantage.
