Role Overview
- The ideal candidate will be an experienced and skilled Lead Control and Instrumentation Engineer, demonstrating proficiency throughout the engineering lifecycle of intricate systems in regulated sectors, and providing technical solutions for complex challenges.
- Responsibilities include reviewing and approving designs, supporting calculations, and technical documentation with minimal oversight. The candidate must possess the ability to convert client needs into effective engineering and technical solutions. Strong communication skills are essential for regular client engagement and participation in design evaluations as projects progress.
Key Responsibilities
- Ensure the engineering quality of projects, adhering to client specifications and engineering standards as well as local domain policies and procedures.
- Take responsibility for the technical integrity of complex, purpose-built engineering systems.
- Possess experience in lifecycle and maturity management.
- Create and revise technical documentation according to client specifications.
- Maintain compliance with Engineering Standards and relevant legislation.
- Lead Design and System Level Reviews, ensuring subsequent designs align with project and client requirements.
- Safeguard the confidentiality and security of client data and information.
Desired Qualifications / Prerequisites:
- Preferably educated to degree level in a relevant engineering discipline or possess equivalent experience.
- Hold professional registration with an accredited body at the level of IEng.
- Must be eligible to obtain or currently hold appropriate security clearance and be a sole British National.
- Familiarity with the Office 365 suite of applications.
- Working knowledge of Def-Stan and Def-Stan 00-035 standards.
