About the Role
New Horizons (Stockport) Ltd is seeking a dedicated and compassionate Night Residential Support Worker to join our team at our learning disability specialist home in Dukinfield.
Key Responsibilities
- To provide high-quality care and support to children and young people with learning disabilities, ensuring their physical, social, and emotional needs are met.
- To work collaboratively with colleagues and other professionals to develop and implement individual care plans, promoting the well-being and independence of our residents.
- To maintain a safe and healthy environment, adhering to the National Minimum Care Standards for Children's Homes and company policies.
- To participate in leisure activities and provide opportunities for personal growth and development, in line with the care and placement plans of our residents.
- To work in partnership with families and other agencies to ensure the best possible outcomes for our residents.
Requirements
- Residential Childcare experience (1 year minimum)
- Driving Licence (desirable)
- Ability to work night shifts, including weekends
