Maintenance Technician Role

Job Summary:

We are seeking a skilled Maintenance Technician to join our team at Cooper Lomaz Recruitment Ltd. As a key member of our maintenance team, you will be responsible for ensuring the smooth operation of our production equipment.

Key Responsibilities:

  • Perform routine maintenance and repairs on production equipment to minimize downtime and ensure optimal performance.
  • Conduct thorough inspections of equipment to identify potential issues and implement preventative measures.
  • Collaborate with the production team to resolve equipment-related issues and optimize production processes.
  • Develop and implement maintenance schedules to ensure equipment is properly maintained and serviced.
  • Maintain accurate records of maintenance activities and equipment performance.

Requirements:

  • 5+ years of experience in a maintenance or engineering role, preferably in a food or drink manufacturing environment.
  • Level 3 NVQ in engineering and 18th Edition certification preferred but not essential.
  • Excellent troubleshooting and problem-solving skills, with the ability to work independently and as part of a team.
  • Fluent English language skills and ability to communicate effectively with colleagues and management.
  • Computer skills required, including proficiency in maintenance management software.
