Job Title: Complex Needs Teaching Assistant

We are seeking a dedicated and compassionate Teaching Assistant to join our team and support students with complex needs.

Key Responsibilities:
  • Provide individualized support to students with behavioral challenges, promoting a positive and inclusive learning environment.
  • Assist with personal care, feeding, changing, and toileting as required, ensuring the students' physical and emotional well-being.
  • Implement behavior management strategies and interventions as directed by senior staff, fostering a culture of respect and empathy.
  • Collaborate with teachers to plan and deliver tailored lessons and activities, meeting the unique needs of each student.
  • Monitor and track student progress, reporting any concerns to relevant staff members, and contributing to the students' ongoing development.
Requirements:
  • Previous experience working with students with behavioral difficulties or SEN is advantageous.
  • Excellent communication and interpersonal skills, with the ability to work effectively as part of a team.
  • A patient and compassionate approach to working with students, with a commitment to safeguarding and promoting their welfare.
  • Strong organizational skills and attention to detail, with the ability to prioritize tasks and manage multiple responsibilities.
