About the Role

We are seeking a skilled Liaison and Diversion Practitioner to join our team at Lancashire Care Foundation Trust. As a Liaison and Diversion Practitioner, you will play a vital role in identifying and responding to individuals with vulnerabilities within the justice system.

Key Responsibilities
  • Screen and assess individuals with vulnerabilities in contact with the justice system
  • Use validated tools to assess for a range of vulnerabilities, including mental health issues, learning disabilities, substance misuse, and social care needs
  • Share relevant information to ensure appropriate services are accessed and manage the safety of clients and others
  • Assess an individual's capacity for effective participation in criminal justice procedures, cultural and gender needs, age and development-related needs, and social circumstances
