Job Summary

We are seeking an experienced Escalator Engineer to join our Major Repairs and Modernisation team in the UK. As an Escalator Engineer, you will be responsible for installing, maintaining, and repairing escalators and other mechanical systems in our customers' buildings.

Key Responsibilities

  • Install, maintain, and repair escalators and other mechanical systems in accordance with industry standards and company procedures.
  • Conduct regular inspections and tests to ensure the safe and efficient operation of escalators and other mechanical systems.
  • Perform routine maintenance tasks, such as lubricating moving parts and replacing worn-out components.
  • Diagnose and repair complex mechanical issues with escalators and other systems.
  • Collaborate with other teams, including installation and maintenance teams, to ensure seamless project execution.
  • Provide excellent customer service and communicate effectively with customers, colleagues, and management.

Requirements

  • Minimum 2 years of experience in escalator maintenance and repair.
  • NVQ3 qualification in escalators or equivalent.
  • Good communication and interpersonal skills.
  • Good written and spoken English.
  • Clean UK driving licence.
  • Eagerness to learn and adapt to new technologies and procedures.
