About the Role

We are seeking a highly skilled and experienced Environmental Consulting Lead to join our team in Ireland. As a key member of our UK&I Environmental Leadership group, you will be responsible for overseeing a wide range of environmental and multi-disciplinary projects, driving forward our technical agenda in response to environmental protection, climate change response, net zero carbon outcomes, and delivering social value.

Key Responsibilities
  • Lead the growth of our Environmental Consulting teams within Ireland, including developing and retaining existing team members and implementing a recruitment strategy to further grow our teams.
  • Work with local Stantec leaders to raise the profile of our Environmental Consulting team across Ireland, maintaining existing and developing new relationships with clients within the local market.
  • Support projects across multiple sectors, including regulated water, energy, and transportation, and contribute to the development of innovative solutions for clients.
  • Collaborate with multi-disciplinary teams to deliver shared goals and objectives, and mentor personnel to grow and develop our environmental consulting teams.
About You

We are looking for an individual with an Environmental or related degree, ideally chartered, and a good understanding of the environmental consulting market across the island of Ireland. You will have a combination of entrepreneurial and commercial flair, and be passionate about growing and developing environmental consulting teams and mentoring personnel.

You will have broad technical knowledge and a strong understanding of one or more environmental technical areas, such as hydrogeology, hydrology, ground assessment, ecology, archaeology, environmental planning, or environmental impact assessment.
