Job Duties:

1. Collaborate with classroom teachers to deliver engaging lessons and educational activities.

2. Assist in the preparation of teaching materials and resources to enhance student learning.

3. Provide individual support to students who require extra help, promoting academic success and well-being.

4. Supervise students during lessons and other school activities, ensuring a safe and positive learning environment.

5. Contribute to maintaining a supportive and inclusive classroom atmosphere.

Required Qualifications:

GCSEs in English and Maths

Relevant teaching assistant qualification

Education:

A minimum of GCSEs in English and Maths

Teaching Assistant qualification

Experience:

Previous experience working in a classroom setting

Experience working with children or young people

Knowledge and Skills:

Good understanding of the UK education system

Strong communication and interpersonal skills

Ability to work effectively as part of a team

Patience and empathy when working with students

Preferred Qualifications:

First Aid certification

Safeguarding training

Working Conditions:

Working hours may vary but typically within school hours

Potential for occasional evening or weekend work for school events

Willingness to undergo a DBS (Disclosure and Barring Service) check

All pay rates quoted will be inclusive of 12.07% statutory holiday pay. This advert is for a temporary position. In some cases, the option to make this role permanent may become available at a later date.
