We are seeking a highly organized and detail-oriented Sales Ledger Clerk to join our team at IPS Finance. As a Sales Ledger Clerk, you will play a crucial role in managing the sales ledger function, ensuring accurate records of all sales transactions, and performing effective credit control.
Main Responsibilities- Generate and issue invoices to customers in a timely manner.
- Maintain accurate records of all sales transactions, including customer accounts and payment history.
- Set up new customer accounts in the accounting system and ensure all transactions are accurately recorded.
- Match payments received with the corresponding invoices and reconcile the sales ledger with the general ledger.
- Investigate and resolve any discrepancies in sales transactions.
- Provide aged debtor analysis and other relevant reports to management.
- Monitor outstanding balances and follow up with customers for payment.
- Implement collection strategies to minimize overdue accounts and ensure timely payment.
To be successful in this role, you will need:
- Proven experience in sales ledger and credit control.
- Excellent communication and organizational skills.
- High attention to detail and ability to work accurately in a fast-paced environment.
As a Sales Ledger Clerk at IPS Finance, you will receive:
