Job Summary:
We are seeking an experienced Workshop Controller to join our team at Volvo Group. As a key member of our service department, you will be responsible for ensuring that our customers receive an exceptional experience from planning to invoice closure.
Key Responsibilities:
- Customer Service: Provide focused management to the service department team to ensure an excellent customer experience.
- Process Adherence: Ensure that all processes are adhered to at all times to maintain high standards of quality and efficiency.
- Operational Reviews: Conduct regular process reviews with the Dealerpoint Manager to identify operational issues and implement corrective actions.
- Performance Management: Manage the performance of the service department to achieve KPI targets and ensure workshop profitability.
- Resource Management: Manage and plan workshop resources to ensure that work requirements are fulfilled on each shift.
- Support Functions: Support the depot team with job specification, codification, and quoting preparation tasks, and assist the customer service team with invoice and claiming closure tasks.
- Complex Job Management: Manage the handover of complex or potentially contentious jobs to ensure full buy-in and agreement from the customer.
- Competence Assessments: Perform quarterly competence assessments on technicians and submit to RTC HR in a timely manner.
- Commercial Meetings: Actively participate in commercial and CAT meetings as required.
- Productive Wage Submission: Manage and process productive wage submission on a monthly basis.
- Business Planning: Assist the Dealerpoint Manager in the production of the annual business plan.
Requirements:
We are looking for a highly motivated and experienced individual with excellent leadership and communication skills. The ideal candidate will have a strong background in workshop management and a proven track record of achieving KPI targets.
