Job Summary
We are seeking a highly motivated and experienced Payroll Operations Lead to oversee the payroll function for our European operations. This role will play a critical part in ensuring accurate and timely payroll processing while supporting the company's growth strategy in Europe.
Key Responsibilities
- Lead and manage a team of payroll professionals, providing guidance and support to ensure efficient and accurate payroll processing.
- Develop and implement best practices for payroll operations, including process improvements and control measures.
- Collaborate with HR and finance teams to ensure seamless integration of payroll processes with other business functions.
- Stay abreast of changes in payroll legislation and regulations, ensuring compliance with all applicable laws and standards.
- Manage relationships with third-party payroll providers, overseeing their performance and service delivery.
- Prepare year-end reporting and statutory filings, ensuring accuracy and completeness.
- Provide management reports and analysis on payroll metrics, identifying trends and areas for improvement.
Key Skills, Knowledge & Experience
- Proven experience in managing payroll operations within a retail environment.
- Strong understanding of payroll systems and processes, including implementation and transformation initiatives.
- Knowledge of third-party payroll management solutions and best practices.
- Excellent analytical and problem-solving skills with attention to detail.
- Effective communication and interpersonal skills, with the ability to build strong relationships with stakeholders.
- Diploma in Payroll Management or equivalent qualification preferred.
