Curriculum Manager Job Description

We are seeking a highly skilled Curriculum Manager to support the Head of Foundation Studies and Vocational Steps in leading, managing, and developing an outstanding curriculum provision for students with SEND, SEMH, or those requiring further development before attending a mainstream course.

The role includes teaching hours and requires a strong commitment to safeguarding and promoting the welfare of children and young people, as well as vulnerable adults.

Key Responsibilities:

  • Support the Head of Foundation Studies and Vocational Steps in curriculum development and implementation
  • Teach and assess students with SEND, SEMH, or those requiring further development
  • Contribute to the development of curriculum materials and resources
  • Collaborate with colleagues to ensure high-quality teaching and learning
  • Participate in staff meetings and contribute to curriculum planning

Requirements:

  • Relevant teaching qualification and experience
  • Strong knowledge of curriculum development and implementation
  • Excellent communication and interpersonal skills
  • Ability to work collaboratively as part of a team
  • Commitment to safeguarding and promoting the welfare of children and young people
