Key Responsibilities

As a Senior Structural Engineer at Zesty Work, you will be responsible for:

  • Providing analysis and design expertise
  • Utilizing engineering software such as Tekla, IDEA StatiCA, and TEDDS
  • Producing hand calculations and delivering design work
  • Supporting construction sites and conducting inspections
  • Preparing technical reports, scopes of work, material specifications, and CDM activities
  • Coordinating inter-discipline design and assisting team members in their technical and professional development

Qualifications and Skills

To be successful in this role, you will need:

  • A degree in Engineering (BEng or MEng) and a qualified Structural Engineer status
  • Strong technical design expertise, including British and international standards, and/or Eurocodes
  • Knowledge of seismic design, dynamic, and extreme environmental loading
  • Ability to prepare bids and proposals
  • Familiarity with BIM packages
  • Experience in designing structures in reinforced concrete and steelwork
