Job Overview

Brakes, a leading foodservice supplier, is seeking a seasoned Salesforce Solution Architect to join its Technology team. As a key member of the team, you will be responsible for delivering technical expertise and solutions that meet stakeholder requirements.

Key Responsibilities
  • Collaborate with the Salesforce product team to develop the Salesforce roadmap.
  • Document and maintain Salesforce solution landscapes, outlines, and designs.
  • Participate in Technical Design Authority (TDA), Cyber Security reviews, and Change Management Boards (CAB) to ensure timely action on agreed items.
  • Establish and adopt standardized design documentation.
  • Support the Salesforce community with coaching to improve overall capability.
  • Implement architecture process improvements based on feedback and lessons learned from the wider Technology team.
About You

You will be a seasoned Solution Architect with experience in leading Salesforce solution selection and design, including IT policies, data protection, security, and licensing agreements. A knowledge of TOGAF or equivalent architecture frameworks is essential. Experience in creating architectural design documentation using both architectural software and generic software tools is also required.

You will have an excellent understanding of data integration standards and technologies, including Salesforce Service, Sales, and Marketing Cloud. We are looking for someone who can communicate effectively across levels of the organization and communicate with both technical and non-technical colleagues with confidence and ability to cope with ambiguity and diversity.

Experience in integration middleware layers, microservices, REST APIs, ETL, and event streaming is also required.
