Job Summary
United Living Group is seeking a skilled and experienced Electrical Installation Specialist to join our team. As a key member of our multi-skilled site team, you will be responsible for the on-site installation, testing, and sign-off of our projects.
Key Responsibilities
- Carry out electrical installation and testing work on existing water company sites in accordance with project requirements and programme.
- Perform panel and MCC works, including FAT/SAT panels.
- Work on client sites across the region, traveling to sites and staying overnight as required.
- Comply with necessary hygiene standards when working on sites that convey sewage and drinking water.
- Work on multiple projects simultaneously and specify job requirements, parts, and equipment needed.
- Compile survey reports for quotation purposes and work in company workshops as required.
- Read, understand, and follow risk assessments and method statements.
- Inspect, survey, identify faults, and carry out works and test electrical systems.
- Complete required paperwork for each project and compile reports to demonstrate installation and testing work has been carried out successfully, accurately, and timely.
- Utilize design drawings, wiring diagrams, and manufacturer's installation manuals to complete assigned projects.
- Ensure compliance with BS7671 requirements and company and client-specific standards.
- Take responsibility for the health and safety of yourself and others under your control.
- Work as part of a team and cooperate with other staff and trades.
- Ensure the quality of your work on site is completed right first time and to company standards.
- Comply with the Company's policies, procedures, and work instructions, including commitment to working with the Company to achieve its OH&S, environmental, and quality objectives.
- Observe and comply with all good working practices.
- Capable of working at heights and in confined spaces in industrial environments.
