We are seeking a qualified and experienced Plumber to join our Property Maintenance Team in the Berkshire area. As this role involves significant travel, we will provide a company van and fuel card to ensure you are not financially burdened.

Your Responsibilities:
As a Plumber, you will carry out plumbing repairs and maintenance tasks for Sovereign's properties, adhering to work schedules within our Responsive Repairs Team and other areas as needed.
Your duties will include:
- Repairing domestic plumbing systems
- Installing replacement sanitary ware, baths, shower trays, and related equipment
- Fitting kitchen sinks
- Installing new piping (copper, speed fit, waste, rainwater)
- Adding new fixtures such as taps and ball valves
- Conducting repairs on various items
- Installing and repairing water mains, heating system piping, and drainage stop taps
- Installing and fixing domestic appliances like showers and washing machines
- Managing vented and unvented cylinder heads (HWSS qualified or equivalent)
- Maintaining and replacing cold water storage tanks
Qualifications:
Applicants should possess a minimum of NVQ Level 2 or equivalent in Plumbing or have at least five years of relevant experience. You must demonstrate a strong customer service orientation and have experience working in occupied settings.
A solid understanding of health and safety practices is essential, along with the ability to work effectively as part of a team.
Proficiency in using mobile technology such as iPads or PDAs is required. A current CSCS card is preferred.
This is a full-time position, requiring 40 hours of work per week, with opportunities for additional earnings through call-out and overtime at competitive rates.
Due to the travel requirements of this role, a valid driving license with at least one year of driving experience is necessary, along with the capability to operate a company van.
This position is subject to a satisfactory license check, verification of essential qualifications, and a basic DBS disclosure.
