Traffic Management Operative

We are seeking a motivated and proactive individual to join our team as a Trainee Traffic Management Operative. As a key member of our operations team, you will be responsible for ensuring the safe and efficient management of traffic on our roads.
Key Responsibilities:- Receive briefing from the Lead Operative prior to the commencement of each contract
- Develop a clear understanding of the hazards involved with and safe method to be employed for each contract, prior to leaving the yard
- Organise and control the safe loading and securing of all equipment onto TMIV's in accordance with appropriate regulations prior to transporting to or from site
- Complete all procedures in accordance with Company Policy, i.e. vehicle defect sheets, installation checklist etc
- Ensure all paperwork is up to date, signed by the relevant people and returned to the contracts department upon completion of the contract
- Provide effective liaison with clients on-site to promote a positive company image in all circumstances
- Install, maintain and remove all TM required as per briefing given by Lead Operative/Contracts Department/Clients
- Implement any changes to pre-planned activities, record and communicate to the operations department at the earliest opportunity when required
- Ensure all TMIV's (Traffic Management Installation Vehicles) are left in a clean and tidy condition at the end of each shift
- Return all equipment to the pre-determined location upon return to the yard
- Record and communicate all losses and damage of equipment to the contracts department at the earliest opportunity
- Complete all yard duties as requested by management
- MUST be drug and alcohol free
- MUST have a valid UK driving license (with 2 years experience and no more than 3 points)
- Must be 25 or over due to insurance purposes
- Must be able to attend a TTMBC course on a specified date if you don't already hold a Lantra TTMBC
