About the Role:

We are seeking a highly skilled and compassionate Substance Misuse Recovery Worker to join our team at Tripod Partners. As a key member of our team, you will play a vital role in supporting individuals struggling with substance misuse to achieve recovery and reintegration into their communities.

Key Responsibilities:

  • Conduct comprehensive assessments of service users, including asset mapping and recovery planning, to identify goals and strategies for achieving recovery.
  • Develop and deliver group programs and workshops, utilizing evidence-based interventions and motivational interviewing techniques, to support service users in achieving their recovery goals.
  • Collaborate with co-facilitators and other team members to ensure seamless delivery of services and effective support for service users.
  • Engage in debriefing and evaluation sessions with co-facilitators to ensure continuous improvement and quality of services.

About You:

We are looking for an individual with a strong understanding of substance misuse issues and experience working in a related field. You will have excellent communication and interpersonal skills, with the ability to work effectively with diverse groups and individuals. A qualification in counseling, group work, or a related field is essential, as is experience working with psychological trauma and evidence-based interventions.
