Community Manager at GMGN Labs

GMGN Labs is a cutting-edge digital marketing agency that specializes in emerging tech and works with top brands. We're passionate about immersive storytelling that leverages web3, social media, and innovative technologies. We're seeking a talented and driven Community Manager who has experience in building communities across Discord, X, Telegram, and other social media platforms.

Key Responsibilities:
  • Oversee and manage client social media accounts, including Twitter, Discord, Instagram, TikTok, Facebook, and more.
  • Develop and execute content strategies, manage copywriting processes, and oversee approval workflows.
  • Schedule and post content according to the content calendar and respond to trending topics.
  • Analyze performance using social media tools and write briefs for creative content production.
  • Engage with and grow online communities, responding to comments and queries across platforms.
  • Host live events, conduct interviews on Discord Channels and Twitter Spaces, and foster active participation in discussions.
  • Manage and support a moderation team to provide exceptional community support.
  • Implement and manage community suggestions and feedback.
  • Analyze customer expectations and community sentiment based on historical social media interactions.
  • Define and measure key performance indicators (KPIs) for social media and community activities.
  • Report on community feedback and sentiment to key stakeholders.
Discord-Specific Responsibilities:
  • Ensure meticulous Discord server management, including role, channel, event, and bot setups.
  • Plan and execute community activations.

We're looking for someone who is hungry to learn, progress, and win. If you're passionate about community building and have a strong technical proficiency with Discord's infrastructure and tech stack, we'd love to hear from you. Familiarity with online forum moderation and moderation team management is a plus. In-depth knowledge of social media best practices, especially for platforms like Discord, Telegram, TikTok, Twitter, Instagram, etc., is essential. A creative flair for content ideation and engagement is also a must. A degree or qualification in marketing, social media marketing, digital marketing, psychology, media studies, or journalism is a plus, but not a requirement. Prior experience running web3 brand or NFT project social channels, specifically on Discord, is highly valued.
