Job Title: Middle Office Analyst

Job Description:

Our client, a leading international Energy Trading company, is seeking a highly skilled Middle Office Analyst to join their team in Singapore. As a key member of the organization, you will play a critical role in supporting the company's financial operations and ensuring the smooth execution of trading activities.

Key Responsibilities:

  • Develop and maintain strong relationships with clearing brokers and clearing banks to ensure seamless trading operations.
  • Monitor trading activity and provide support for Market and Credit risk monitoring.
  • Collaborate with the Treasury team to understand and calculate the impacts of Interest Rates (IR) and Foreign Exchange (FX) on Profit and Loss (P&L).
  • Support the Finance team in month-end financial closing processes, including explaining any provision requirements for the business.
  • Take ownership of Contract and confirmation management for financial trades.
  • Contribute to the development of business travel plans and ensure compliance with company policies.

Requirements:

  • Economics, finance, or a similar quantitative-based degree.
  • Ability to effectively display and explain complex analysis to management.
  • Commercial awareness and an adaptive approach to problem-solving.
  • Strong communication and interpersonal skills, with the ability to work effectively in a culturally diverse team.
  • Ability to work autonomously, organizing workloads and managing delivery and expectation of the front office on behalf of the team.
