Apprenticeship Recruitment Opportunity

We are seeking a dynamic and experienced Learner Recruitment Executive to join our apprenticeship team at Oaklands College. In this role, you will be responsible for attracting and enrolling candidates into our apprenticeship programmes.

Key Responsibilities:
  • Outreach to potential learners to promote our apprenticeship programmes
  • Conducting interviews and assessments to identify suitable candidates
  • Guiding applicants through the enrolment process to ensure a smooth transition
Requirements:
  • 2+ years of experience in a recruitment or sales role
  • Proven track record of achieving sales targets within the role
  • Good standard of apprenticeship knowledge
  • Previous experience within a similar role with proven evidence of a target and KPI focus
  • Excellent communication and interpersonal skills
  • Ability to communicate using a variety of mediums to internal and external audiences
  • Demonstratable experience of building and maintaining networks
  • Excellent customer service skills and a genuine interest in working with and helping individuals to secure fulfilling careers
  • Confident approach to dealing with requests and enquiries
  • Good communication and listening skills together with the ability to liaise with individuals, externals and internal stakeholders
  • Effective written and verbal communication skills
  • Ability to work as part of a team and on own initiative
  • Positive, enthusiastic and can-do attitude
  • Resilience to manage a difficult customer conversation
  • Good attention to detail and data input accuracy
  • Ability to work flexibly to meet the needs of the College
  • General knowledge of use of social media platforms for learner engagement
  • Level 2 English and Maths
