Lead and Inspire a Team of Train Drivers at Transport for Wales

Are you a highly motivated, flexible, and committed individual with a passion for leading teams? We are seeking a dedicated Driver Team Manager to join our team in Machynlleth. This role offers a unique opportunity to make a real difference within the rail industry.

The Role:
  • Provide strong people management, fostering a positive and supportive environment for your team of train drivers.
  • Communicate effectively to ensure your team is highly motivated and committed to delivering exceptional service to our customers and upholding the highest safety standards.
  • Champion a culture of safety and performance excellence through engagement and encouragement, working closely with your team to achieve operational goals.
  • Collaborate effectively with other managers across various departments, including Performance, Safety, Customer Service, and HR. Build strong relationships with key stakeholders such as Network Rail.

We are looking for a customer-focused individual who prioritizes the needs of our passengers in all decisions. The successful candidate will have the opportunity to play a pivotal role in shaping the future of the driver function within Transport for Wales.
