Learning Support Assistant

Leader Education is seeking a dedicated Learning Support Assistant to join a renowned primary school in Newcastle.
This is a long-term position with a normal working pattern of Monday-Friday, 8:30-16:30.

About the RoleThe successful candidate will:
- Have a fully enhanced DBS on the update service or a willingness to obtain one.
- Have a background working in education or relevant experience.
- Assist pupils in lessons and activities.
- Work effectively with parents, carers, and other members of multidisciplinary teams to provide the best support.
- Be confident in working alongside students, ensuring they are fully supported within their learning and general classroom activities.
- Possess communication skills that can be personalised to suit students of different abilities.
