Job Title: Maintenance Engineer - Production Machinery

We are seeking an experienced Maintenance Engineer to join our team in Poole. The successful candidate will be responsible for providing a full preventative and breakdown maintenance service across a wide range of production machinery and equipment.

Key Responsibilities:
  • Electrical and mechanical repair and preventative maintenance of all machinery, electrical equipment, and factory services to a high standard in accordance with manufacturers' specifications.
  • Electrical/electronic and mechanical fault finding and repair on all production equipment, including CNC and PLC-controlled machinery.
  • Undertaking of preventative maintenance schedules and Total Productive Maintenance (TPM) related activities.
  • Working within H&S Regulations and company procedures at all times.
  • Improving the reliability of machinery and equipment.
Requirements:
  • Experience in a manufacturing environment and the ability to demonstrate previous experience of undertaking preventative maintenance, repairs, and installation of electrical, mechanical, and electronic equipment.
  • HNC/HND – ideally to degree level or equivalent.
  • A strong understanding of PLCs.
  • Ability to lead a team or work autonomously.
  • Extensive CNC machine maintenance experience – preferable.
  • Electro-mechanical skills, including hydraulics, pneumatics, and industrial control.
  • Problem-solving skills and the ability to identify and implement solutions to prevent reoccurrence of breakdowns.
  • Qualification to C&G 2391 Inspection & Test and training in BS 7671 – 18th Edition the IET Wiring Regulations & The Electricity at Work Regulations th Edition IEE Certification or equivalent is advantageous.
  • A drive to improve reliability of machinery and equipment through Continuous Improvement.

We offer a competitive salary up to £33k per annum (dependent on experience) plus benefits. Working hours are Monday to Friday, 08:00 am till 17:00 pm, this is 39 hours per week.
