Newport Norse is a collaborative venture between Norse Group and Newport City Council, dedicated to delivering exceptional cleaning services throughout the community.
We are seeking a dedicated Custodial Staff member for West Glan Llyn Primary in Newport. Your primary role will be to maintain a clean, secure, and well-kept environment by performing various cleaning tasks as needed.
- Uphold high cleanliness standards.
- Notify the Area Supervisor of any maintenance issues or defects.
- Adhere to all health and safety protocols.
- Deliver outstanding customer service.
This role is offered on a part-time, permanent basis, requiring 15 hours of work per week with a shift pattern from 15:30 to 18:30, Monday through Friday.
We provide comprehensive training for those new to the industry; however, we prefer candidates who possess:
- Prior experience in a cleaning or janitorial role.
- Familiarity with health & safety regulations pertinent to the position, including the use of relevant equipment and cleaning products.
- The ability to work independently and manage your own tasks effectively.
- Strong communication skills, with the ability to engage positively with the public and clients.
Our Offer
