CBW Staffing Solutions is excited to present an opportunity for a Minor New Works/Electrical Maintenance Engineer to join a prominent facilities management organization on a Fixed-Term Contract. This role offers a unique chance to advance your career while exploring new professional avenues. The position is mobile, covering the South/West Yorkshire area, and involves a 40-hour work week spread over 4 days within a 7-day cycle, including weekends and nights.

Key Responsibilities:
  • Executing works across various sites in South Yorkshire.
  • Performing remedial and minor new works across diverse client properties.
  • Upgrading, replacing, and installing electrical systems.
  • Conducting maintenance tasks, inspections, and troubleshooting, including Planned Preventative Maintenance (PPM) and Reactive Maintenance.
  • Repairing and maintaining lighting and distribution systems.
  • Responding promptly and effectively to all electrically related reactive maintenance issues and service requests.
Person Specification:
  • 18th Edition (BS7671) certification.
  • City & Guilds/NVQ Level 2 or 3 Electrical Qualification.
  • City & Guilds 2391 Electrical Inspection and Testing (desirable).
  • Valid UK Driving Licence.
