An exciting opportunity has emerged for a Recreation Centre Operations Supervisor to support the management of our upcoming swimming pool, sports centre, and climbing wall.
With the new facilities set to open in Summer 2024, the Upper School site will feature a state-of-the-art six-lane 25-metre swimming pool, a sports hall, and a climbing facility that includes an 11-metre roped climbing wall and a bouldering area.
Reporting to the Sports Centre Manager, the Operations Supervisor will play a crucial role in ensuring the safe and efficient daily management of the swimming pool, climbing wall, and sports hall within The Perse School Sports Centre.
The role will emphasize maintaining the facilities, managing staff, and delivering exceptional service to both the school community and external users.
Key responsibilities include:
- Assisting in the implementation of a learn-to-swim program.
- Coordinating a schedule for various sports activities and facility rentals.
The ideal candidate will be a proactive team player with strong leadership capabilities and outstanding customer service skills. Previous experience in a leisure or sports environment, along with a background in managing third-party facility usage, is essential.
Management experience in a relevant field and the ability to recommend and assist in establishing and enhancing operational procedures are also required.
