AWE is seeking a highly skilled Supply Chain Specialist to join our team. As a key member of our cross-functional team, you will play a crucial role in enhancing our supply chain performance and driving supplier collaboration.

Key Responsibilities
  • Contribute to the development and implementation of best practice processes and systems.
  • Work with AWE Business System (AWEBS electronic purchasing) and information management systems to support functional governance.
  • Governance of AWE Supply Chain Management policies, processes and systems, including preparation of material for and participation in audits (internal and external) and reporting risk, savings and benefits.
  • Work offsite with suppliers to improve performance and develop procedures.
  • Support change and champion best practice by actively participating in reviews of SCM processes and systems, ensuring adherence, providing training and escalating issues as appropriate.
  • Manage and maintain SCM data, including electronic purchasing system, contractual/supplier records and activity trackers.
  • Design, delivery, analysis and commentary of both standard and bespoke reports to provide performance reports, dashboards and facilitate governance reviews and audit.
  • Provide presentations and training to users and internal/external stakeholders to promote awareness of the supply chain function and support compliance.
  • Management of SCM risks associated with the role.
  • Seek and collate internal and/or external feedback on the Supply Chain Function to support continuous improvement activities.

This role will be predominantly supplier based, with a 80/20 split. Willingness to travel is required.
