We are delighted to be working with a leading manufacturer of packaging solutions, who are seeking a skilled Maintenance Engineer to join their engineering division.

About the Role

The Maintenance Engineer will be responsible for providing maintenance cover to the production departments, plant machinery, and site facilities. This will involve working closely with the Maintenance Team Leader to ensure that all maintenance tasks are completed efficiently and effectively.

The ideal candidate will have a strong background in electrical engineering and maintenance, with experience of working in a manufacturing environment. They will be able to work independently and as part of a team, and will have excellent problem-solving skills.

The successful candidate will be responsible for:

  • Carrying out routine maintenance tasks to ensure the smooth operation of plant machinery and site facilities
  • Identifying and reporting any maintenance issues or defects
  • Working with the Maintenance Team Leader to develop and implement maintenance plans
  • Providing technical support and guidance to other members of the engineering team
