Job Title: Assistant Store Manager

We are seeking an experienced and motivated Assistant Store Manager to join our team in South London. As an Assistant Store Manager at Aldi, you will be responsible for supporting the Store Manager in the day-to-day operations of the store, ensuring that all aspects of the business are running smoothly and efficiently.

Key Responsibilities:
  • Assist the Store Manager in the management of the store, including staff supervision, customer service, and stock control.
  • Contribute to the development and implementation of sales and marketing strategies to drive business growth.
  • Monitor and control costs, including labor, inventory, and overheads.
  • Ensure that all store policies and procedures are followed, including health and safety, security, and customer service standards.
  • Provide excellent customer service, responding to customer queries and resolving any issues in a professional and courteous manner.
Requirements:
  • Proven experience in a retail management role, preferably in a similar environment.
  • Excellent communication and interpersonal skills, with the ability to work effectively with colleagues and customers.
  • Strong organizational and time management skills, with the ability to prioritize tasks and meet deadlines.
  • Ability to work flexibly, including evenings and weekends, as required.
  • Basic computer skills, including Microsoft Office and other relevant software.
