Job Title: Managing Quantity Surveyor

We are seeking a highly skilled Managing Quantity Surveyor to join our team at Niyaa People. As a key member of our social housing contractor team, you will be responsible for managing the commercial aspects of our sub-regional office.

Key Responsibilities:
  • Manage the commercial aspects of the sub-regional office, including forecasting and future projections.
  • Oversee the CVR process on a monthly basis for all sub-regional contracts.
  • Monitor contract progress and manage individual contract budgets.
  • Prepare and monitor cash flow, and submit monthly applications for payment to clients or their representatives.
  • Value and authorize payments to sub-contractors, and assist in the preparation and processing of estimates, bids, and tenders.
  • Liaise with contract managers to establish project specifications and requirements.
  • Mentor and support surveyors in the region.
Requirements:
  • Experience as a Managing Quantity Surveyor within the social housing industry.
  • UK Full Driving License.
  • Able to pass a DBS check.
  • Good IT skills.
What We Offer:
  • £70,000 per year.
  • Company car or car allowance.
