Carr Gomm is a leading social care and community development charity dedicated to improving the lives of individuals within our communities. Our Responder service in Dunoon & Cowal focuses on providing immediate support during urgent situations, ensuring the well-being and safety of those we serve.

The Role: Support Practitioner - Dunoon & Cowal

As a Support Practitioner, you will play a vital role in our Responder service. You will be responsible for:

  • Conducting personal care and providing practical support to individuals in need.
  • Performing dynamic risk assessments to ensure the safety and well-being of those we support.
  • Screening needs through effective communication and building strong relationships with individuals.
  • Working proactively to prevent hospital admissions by providing timely and appropriate support.

While you will often work independently, our close-knit team provides ongoing support and ensures continuity of care. You will also collaborate with partner organizations to contribute to the holistic care and well-being of individuals we support.
