Lead Speech and Language Therapist Opportunity

We are excited to invite applications for the role of Lead Speech and Language Therapist to join our dedicated therapy team at our Neurological Rehabilitation Centre in Greenwich.

As a senior member of our multidisciplinary team, you will work closely with professionals from neurology, neuropsychiatry, neuropsychology, nursing, physiotherapy, occupational therapy, and social work to ensure the effective delivery of a highly specialized SLT service.

Key Responsibilities
  • Lead and manage the Speech and Language team to ensure effective service delivery.
  • Plan and prioritize a complex clinical caseload with advanced specialist assessment and treatment of communication and swallowing disorders.
  • Take a lead role in diagnosis, problem formulation, and rehabilitation planning within the multidisciplinary team.
  • Develop and deliver in-service education and training programs for the wider MDT.

As a senior management team member, you will foster a culture of openness, person-centred care, and continuous learning in a high-performing service environment.

Requirements
  • HCPC registration
  • Postgraduate dysphagia training
  • Minimum 2 years of experience at Band 7 level in a neurorehabilitation setting
  • Supervisory experience
  • Proven ability to manage a complex caseload independently in neurorehabilitation
  • Successful candidates will undergo an Enhanced DBS check
