Our client, a leading diversified business, is seeking a seasoned Head of Group Reporting to lead its finance function in a fast-paced growth environment. With a strong presence in the UK, North America, and Canada, the company has achieved a significant increase in turnover to £500m.

The ideal candidate will have a proven track record of managing a 'first-in-class' group finance function within a public limited company (plc). They will be responsible for driving the company's ambitious plans, including a potential initial public offering (IPO).

Key Responsibilities:

  • Oversee the monthly P&L, balance sheet, and cash flow reporting process, ensuring accurate consolidation across the Group.
  • Develop and implement a robust planning and budgeting process across the Group, covering P&L, Balance Sheet, Cash Flow, and key performance indicators (KPIs).
  • Manage tax and treasury reporting across the Group, ensuring compliance with relevant regulations.
  • Maintain a robust financial control environment, identifying and mitigating risks, and implementing effective controls and processes.
  • Lead the Group Audit reporting, ensuring full adherence to International Financial Reporting Standards (IFRS) requirements.

Requirements:

  • A qualified accountant with big 4 practice experience, preferably in a plc environment.
  • Excellent time management and prioritization skills, with the ability to meet continuous deadlines.
  • Strong communication skills, with the ability to effectively interact with all levels of the organization.
  • Self-motivated and able to work independently, with a proven track record of delivering results in fast-paced environments.
