Job Type: Full-time

We are seeking an experienced Cloud Platform DevOps Lead to oversee a team of DevOps engineers and collaborate on the design, development, and management of an advanced data and analytics platform on AWS.

Key Responsibilities:
  • Provisioning and automation of AWS Infrastructure using Infrastructure as Code (IaC) tools.
  • Collaboration with data engineers and data scientists on CI/CD pipelines and MLOps.
  • Implementation of platform observability, security, and telemetry for proactive monitoring and alerting of Cloud applications.
  • Support for cloud infrastructure and applications, with experience in programming using Python and Bash.
  • Knowledge of IaC frameworks like AWS CDK, Terraform, and Cloud Formation, as well as configuration management tools like Ansible.
  • Strong experience working with AWS IAM, data, and analytics services, with a focus on automation, monitoring, and CI/CD.
  • Experience in building container images securely and image lifecycle management, with AWS certifications a plus.

Requirements:

  • Minimum 5-10 years of hands-on Cloud DevOps experience.
  • Bachelor's degree or higher in engineering.
  • Team player with an enthusiastic approach to fresh challenges.

The Data Science and Engineering team at Trafigura Group researches, develops, and provides advanced analytics and data services to the trading business and other commercial operations. The team is comprised of Data Scientists, Data Engineers, and Quantitative Finance experts, working in close partnership with trading desks, global research, and enterprise technology.
