Job Summary

We are seeking a highly skilled and experienced Laboratory Technician to join our team at B&S Group (Laxmico Ltd). As a Laboratory Technician, you will be responsible for performing routine and non-routine analysis of raw materials, intermediates, and finished products using various analytical techniques.

Key Responsibilities
  • Analysis and Testing: Perform analytical development testing and technical transfer analysis when required, and generate, process, and report raw data from analyses in accordance with data integrity policies and regulatory requirements.
  • Lab Support: Ensure timely and adequate support with respect to availability of all lab reagents, reference standards, and manage the loading, pooling, and testing of stability samples for product development and licensed product stability.
  • Equipment Maintenance: Calibrate and maintain laboratory equipment in accordance with SOPs and regulatory requirements, and prepare and standardize chemical reagents and solutions for laboratory use.
  • Documentation and Reporting: Document test results accurately and maintain detailed records of all laboratory activities, and prepare reports as required.
  • Collaboration and Communication: Collaborate with cross-functional teams to troubleshoot technical issues and improve laboratory processes, and escalate major and critical compliance issues through the site PQS process.
  • Professional Development: Stay current with industry trends and regulatory requirements related to QC chemistry, and take responsibility for own development, learning, and performance.
Secondary Responsibilities
  • Risk Management: Identify and report potential risks identified in the QC Laboratory, and alert other team members of issues that may be detrimental to quality or pose a risk to individuals.
  • Team Contribution: Contribute to the effectiveness of the team by reflecting on own and team activities and making suggestions on ways to improve and enhance the team's performance.
Requirements

To be successful in this role, you will need to have a strong background in analytical chemistry, excellent laboratory skills, and the ability to work independently and as part of a team. You will also need to have strong communication and problem-solving skills, and be able to work in a fast-paced environment.
