The David Ross Education Trust is a not-for-profit Multi-Academy Trust that runs a growing network of primary and secondary schools in various locations. Our academies serve over 14,000 students and their families.

We are seeking new governors to support Bringhurst Primary School. Our governors work closely with their academies to support the Trust's goal of broadening the horizons of young people through a world-class education, equipping our students with the skills and experiences to become their confident, academic best.

As a governor, you will have the opportunity to make a real difference in the education of our children. You will work with others to help benefit the education of children and have the chance to learn new skills. The role may sound formal, but governors play a vital role in the running of the school and most people enjoy their time as a governor.

It is essential to have governors who are reflective of the community a school serves. Diversity can help with better scrutiny and decision making in the interests of pupils.
