Job Title: Mechanical Fitter

We are seeking a skilled Mechanical Fitter to join our team at Resourcing Group. The successful candidate will work on low pressure steam systems and water systems, with a focus on stripping chlofiers.

Key Responsibilities:
  • Isolate and make safe plant equipment
  • Fault find and resolve issues using manual and electronic information retrieval systems
  • Read technical drawings, instructions, and manuals
  • Liaise with a broad range of contacts
  • Maintain a wide range of equipment, including pumps, motors, remote handling equipment, bearings, brakes, engines, pipework, ventilation systems, cranes, steam & compressed air systems, and ancillaries
Requirements:
  • NVQ Level 3 or equivalent in Mechanical Engineering or similar subject
  • Successful completion of a recognised Apprenticeship in Mechanical Engineering or similar subject
  • Proven maintenance experience
What We Offer:
  • Hourly pay rate of £21.27 (PAYE) or £26 (CIS)
  • Ongoing contract with potential for full-time employment
  • 9-day fortnight shift pattern
