Job Title: Traffic and Transportation Engineer

Copello is seeking a skilled Traffic and Transportation Engineer to join our team. As a key member of our engineering team, you will be responsible for ensuring the smooth operation of our airport's transportation systems.

Key Responsibilities:
  1. Tactical Management: Manage operational services at the airport, ensuring timely delivery of services to customers.
  2. Maintenance and Repair: Plan, prioritize, and execute maintenance and repair tasks to ensure compliance with schedules, service level agreements, and local procedures.
  3. System Performance Monitoring: Monitor system performance to plan for maintenance and repair, ensuring optimal service to ATC and other customers.
  4. Engineering Tasks and Projects: Progress engineering tasks and projects as required, maintaining a broad knowledge of all technology and systems deployed at airports.
  5. Shift and On-Call System: Participate in a formal shift and on-call system, ensuring 24/7 coverage.
  6. Driving and Vehicle Operations: Be willing to drive company vehicles on public roads and airfields.
Requirements:
  1. Engineering Qualification: Hold an engineering qualification to Higher National Certificate (NVQ Level 4) or equivalent in a relevant field.
  2. Structured Training: Have undertaken structured engineering training, such as a recognized apprenticeship.
  3. Technical Competence: Demonstrate proven ability to learn new technology and stay up-to-date with advances in the aviation industry.
  4. Commercial Awareness: Show commercial awareness and understanding of internal relationships and dependencies on Air Traffic Management engineering systems.
  5. Communication Skills: Possess effective oral and written communication skills, with the ability to present information accurately to customers and suppliers.
  6. Work Schedule: Work within a roster with on-call availability.
  7. Full UK Driving Licence: Hold a full UK driving licence.
