About the Role

We are seeking a highly skilled and experienced Delivery Driver/Logistics Specialist to join our team at Octopus Energy. As a key member of our operations team, you will be responsible for delivering exceptional customer service while ensuring the efficient and safe transportation of goods to our customers.

Key Responsibilities

  • Drive and collect goods from our distribution centre and deliver them to customers nationwide using a company-provided Luton Van.
  • Provide site support to our engineers and customers, ensuring that goods are left in a secure, safe, and practical place.
  • Be the face of our company, offering an exceptional delivery service to our customers.
  • Take responsibility for the efficient running of the warehouse, including Goods In, Goods Out, Pack Build, Goods Assembly, Returns, and Stock Control.
  • Support on other tasks as required, such as vehicle pick-ups, vehicle maintenance, cleaning/servicing equipment, and checking inventory.

Requirements

  • Experience working in a fast-paced warehouse or distribution centre environment.
  • Physically fit to meet the demands of a multi-drop driving and warehouse role.
  • Ability to speak confidently and comfortably with customers, with a friendly, proactive, and 'can-do' attitude.
  • Full UK driving license with no more than 3 points.
  • Experience driving and operating a ton Luton Van (or similar) in a customer-facing role.
  • Forklift driving experience is desirable but not essential.

What We Offer

  • Salary: £26,000 basic salary (plus London weighting if living within the M25).
  • Annual bonus: £2,500 based on KPIs.
