The Role

We are seeking a highly skilled Project Manager to join our Investment & Programmes team. The successful candidate will have experience in delivering grant funding programmes with community outcomes, managing both expenditure and output delivery with internal and external project leads. The role will also involve contributing to other key council projects and programmes.

About the Job

The Project Manager will work closely with multiple teams across the council and with city partners to manage key projects and programmes across the Investment & Programmes portfolio. This will include supporting a large-scale, grant-funded programme until its completion, ensuring compliance with grant-funding requirements and collaboration with partner organisations delivering associated projects in our communities.

Key Responsibilities
  • Manage grant funding programmes with community outcomes
  • Collaborate with internal and external project leads to deliver outputs and outcomes
  • Support delivery of our Employment & Skills strategy
  • Work with specialists to manage a delivery plan
  • Contribute to other key council projects and programmes
