About the Role

We are seeking a highly skilled Senior Electrical Design Engineer to join our Water Consulting team. As a key member of our team, you will be responsible for delivering technical excellence in the design and delivery of water and wastewater process plants, pumping stations, and ancillary assets.

Key Responsibilities
  • Ensure projects meet required technical, legislative, quality, safety, and environmental standards and objectives.
  • Identify and develop innovative and optimised technical solutions based on client needs and drivers.
  • Lead and coordinate work with multi-disciplinary teams, including process, civil, structural, mechanical, electrical, and ICA.
  • Establish and grow relationships with clients and capital alliance partners on project technical, commercial, and progress matters.
  • Support and lead design and advisory services relating to new and existing water and wastewater process plants, pumping stations, and ancillary assets.
  • Carry out production and checking complex electrical detailed designs, including calculations, specifications, reports, and drawings.
  • Technical delivery of multi-disciplinary projects, in a Design Lead capacity where assigned, using the latest digital design techniques.
  • Mentoring and performance development responsibility for assigned staff.
Requirements
  • Extensive experience in delivering process plant systems within complex engineering projects in the water industry.
  • Hands-on experience in water and/or wastewater projects.
  • Proficiency in digital design within design and construct projects.
  • Leadership within technical or discipline teams, emphasizing a collaborative approach.
