Job Title: Aircraft Maintenance Manager
Job Summary:
UK Power Networks is seeking a highly skilled Aircraft Maintenance Manager to join our team. As a key member of our organization, you will be responsible for overseeing the maintenance of our client's electrical network and assets, ensuring uninterrupted electricity supply.
Key Responsibilities:
- Plan and Execute Maintenance: Develop and execute maintenance plans to achieve scheduled goals, ensuring the Commercial Buildings HV/LV networks are maintained efficiently and safely.
- Annual Maintenance Planning: Create and submit an annual maintenance plan for approval by the relevant building management, ensuring compliance with commercial contracts.
- Health, Safety, and Quality: Adhere to UKPN procedures for health, safety, quality, environmental, and welfare to conduct all work, ensuring a safe working environment.
- Customer Expectations: Meet customer expectations regarding service quality, flexibility, and reliability, delivering maintenance reports promptly and accurately.
- Supply Security: Ensure the client's electrical supplies are secure, coordinating with UKPN for supply issues as needed.
- Team Management: Manage staff, contractors, and network assets/maintenance, ensuring effective team performance and compliance with regulations.
Desirable Qualifications:
- Business Acumen: Possess a broad understanding of UK Power Networks Services businesses and operations.
- Process Knowledge: Familiarity with UK Power Networks Services PC&G process and procedures.
- Travel and Safety: Willingness to travel around Commercial Buildings clients' sites, holding relevant safety qualifications such as IOSH or NEBOSH.
- Project Management: Experience managing small projects and supervising teams of staff/external contractors.
- Leadership Qualities: Possess supervisory qualifications (Certificate in Management or equivalent) and demonstrate leadership skills.
