About the Role

We are seeking a highly skilled and experienced Advanced Radiology Nurse to join our Interventional Radiology team in Bonsai Ward at Dartford and Gravesham NHS Trust.

Key Responsibilities
  • Take an advanced role in the activities of the Radiology department, maintaining a high standard of care at all times.
  • Work autonomously, organise the running of clinics, scrub duties, and recovery, ensuring efficient use of resources.
  • Assist in booking patient lists, pre-admission assessment, and deputise for the Sister as required.
  • Communicate effectively with internal and external agencies, undertake Continual Professional Development, and adhere to Trust and Departmental policies and procedures.
Person Specification
  • First-level registered nurse with evidence of CPD, IV administration/IV Sedation Training, and ILS Training.
  • Previous experience in radiology, acute, or critical care settings, with ability to carry out essential and appropriate nursing care and procedures.
  • Ability to demonstrate enthusiasm towards teaching and sharing knowledge, prioritise clinical work effectively, and communicate effectively at all levels.
