Job Title: Senior Environmental Manager
Job Summary:
The Prax Group is a multinational conglomerate operating in the upstream exploration and production, refining, storage, distribution, and sales of crude oil, petroleum products, and biofuels. We are seeking a highly skilled Senior Environmental Manager to join our team and ensure the company's environmental objectives are met during its exploration, appraisal, development, operations, and decommissioning activities.
Key Responsibilities:
- Assure compliance with environmental statutory provisions throughout the full life cycle of operations
- Prepare and submit permit applications, including PETS and SAT applications
- Administer the EEMS database and set OSPAR EEMS requirements
- Propose and monitor annual environmental targets and objectives
- Record environmental training, exercises, and drills, and submit annual returns
- Liaise with other West of Shetland Operators to exchange environmental information and lessons learned
- Contract Owner for OSRL and Shetland Oils Spill Response
- Lead environmental survey responses and consultations
- Monitor changes to environmental legislation and advise personnel
- Ensure compliance with HSSE&Q corporate policies and applicable legislation
- Establish, review, and revise environmental policy and plans
- Demonstrate proactive environmental leadership
Requirements:
- Technical degree or equivalent with relevant application to the oil and gas industry
- Chartered Member of a professional environmental body
- Ability to work effectively in a team environment
- Experience of UKCS field development and knowledge of associated reporting and operational requirements
- Proven environmental leadership experience
- Knowledge of current environmental indicators and techniques for enhancing EH&S performance
