Cloud Security Engineer

We are seeking a highly skilled Cloud Security Engineer to join our award-winning team in Swindon. As a Cloud Security Engineer, you will play a key role in designing and implementing secure cloud architectures on AWS, ensuring the security and integrity of our cloud infrastructure.

Key Responsibilities:
  • Design and implement secure cloud architectures on AWS, utilizing best practices and industry standards.
  • Collaborate with DevOps teams to ensure AWS security best practices are followed, and security is integrated into our CI/CD pipelines.
  • Conduct security assessments and penetration testing of AWS environments, identifying vulnerabilities and implementing remediation plans.
  • Manage identity and access control across our AWS ecosystem, ensuring secure access to cloud resources.
  • Implement and maintain AWS security monitoring and incident response systems, providing real-time visibility into security events.
Requirements:
  • Experience in DevOps or Site Reliability Engineering, with a strong understanding of AWS and its security features.
  • Proficiency with Terraform for infrastructure-as-code, and experience with container technologies and orchestration.
  • Strong knowledge of network security concepts and protocols, and experience with security automation and scripting.
  • Knowledge of compliance frameworks, such as SOC 2, ISO 27001, and NIST, and relevant certifications are a plus.
