Claims Handler - Road Traffic Claims

Hastings Direct is seeking a skilled Claims Handler to join our team in Bexhill. As a Claims Handler, you will play a crucial role in providing exceptional customer service to our policyholders who have been involved in a road traffic accident.

Key Responsibilities:
  • Manage a portfolio of policyholder's write-off claims through to settlement.
  • Communicate effectively with customers, internal teams, and external parties to resolve claims efficiently.
  • Provide empathetic and professional support to customers, ensuring their complete understanding of the claims process.
  • Validate claims and policies, maintaining accurate records and reserves.
  • Achieve departmental and business targets, contributing to the company's growth and success.

  • Excellent customer service skills, with strong verbal and written communication abilities.
  • Active listening skills, with a proactive approach to work.
  • Organizational skills, with the ability to prioritize workload and manage multiple tasks.
